How RoyaleIQ works
One engine, everywhere
The scoring engine is written in Rust and runs in your browser as WebAssembly, so every pick recalculates instantly. The server runs the identical engine for saved decks and coaching.
Explainable, not mysterious
Eight weighted components, structural penalties applied once, and a reason for every weakness and swap. Matchups are labeled as heuristic unless real battle evidence backs them.
Coaching from your battles
Link your player tag and RoyaleIQ records the battles the official API exposes. Recommendations show sample sizes and uncertainty, and never claim a card caused a loss.

Questions
How does the RoyaleIQ deck checker score a deck?
It combines eight weighted components — offense, defense, synergy, matchup resilience, air and ground coverage, elixir curve, spell utility, and Evolution or Hero value — then subtracts a fixed penalty once for each critical weakness such as no air defense. Every component and penalty is shown, so you can see exactly how the score was built.
Is the score a win probability?
No. It is a structural assessment of how well the cards work together. Matchup estimates are labeled heuristic unless your own recorded battles support them, and confidence is reported separately from the score.
Does it support Evolutions, Heroes, and Champions?
Yes. The deck builder follows the current slot rules — an Evolution slot, a Hero slot, and a Wild slot, with at most one Champion — and values each special form by how much it adds to your specific deck.
Can I copy a deck into Clash Royale?
Yes. Open in Clash Royale and Copy Deck Link use the game's copy-deck link, including Evolutions. Hero forms don't have a documented link encoding yet, so they import as their base card and RoyaleIQ tells you which ones to switch in game.
How do personalized recommendations work?
Link your player tag and RoyaleIQ records the battles the official Clash Royale API makes available. Recommendations show the actual number of games, smoothed win rates, and uncertainty, and never claim that a single card caused a loss.
Is RoyaleIQ free?
The deck checker, card guides, and deck guides are free to use without an account. A free account adds saved decks, match history, and coaching.
